I am a food lover and I go to different resto's in and out of Metro Manila just to try something new for my taste buds but there's this one resto that catches my attention. I heard a lot of nice feedbacks about ISABELO'S GARDEN RESTAURANT. Just March 2011,my siter-in-law Marou had a reservations at ISABELO GARDEN RESTAURANT and invited me and my family for a dinner because her daughter (KARA) will graduate in grade school on that evening. Then i said to my self upon hearing the invitation..YES!! Finally....i can see the ISABELO GARDEN RESTAURANT and taste their extra ordinary foodies...and the night has come...my family and I went to ISABELO's and it was an advantage for us because we live in Marikina and it took us only 15minutes drive to get to the resto.We did'nt have a hard time finding the place because even before we left the house, my sister-in-law sent us the map going to ISABELO GARDEN RESTAURANT.Its just easy.If you are living in Marikina and your familiar with the Kapitan Moy and the Our Lady of Abondoned Church,just straight ahead and you will find the SHOE MUSEUM and after that there you will see a small street then turn right and straight ahead. You will find ISABELO at your left with a silver gate.I remembered then that someone opened the gate for us and we were ushered inside the resto. ISABELO really has a very accomodating staffs.It is a plus factor for me. Good thing that there's a lot of parking slots inside. Now time for me to tour you around....

So after taking some pictures..the celebrant came and we were asked to go to our destination tables. Im really amazed on how ISABELO set up their tables..i loved the color,,and it was very artistic..see the picture below.

My sister-in-law stood up the table and she introduces to the guests who's behind on all of these... and her name is Chef Portia!!! When i saw her i said to myself wow she's cool!!Who would think that this beautiful young lady was the cook for that night...amazing right..???Then she had some brief introduction about herself, how was Isabelo put up and what our the dishes to be serve..I remember when she mentioned that the food was baked in pugon so i was really excited on how does it taste..It seems I really couldn't wait to taste it!! So here's are some of the foods that was served to us at ISABELO GARDEN RESTAURANT...

By the way, if your now planning to go to Isabelo..Dont forget to order the spinach artichoke..it was really good!!When i tasted it..its stinks to my mouth....

The Best dish for me...Roasted Pork Crackling!!!!
I will never forget the Roasted Pork Crackling....super crunchy..perfect and mouth-watering.It tasted like a litson..You will surely loved this...By the way its costs 1,250..it is one of their best seller and you should try it and you won't regret it.It has four dips to choose from. We also tried the Orange Herb Chicken.

I was so fulled that night..Everything that i ate was so delicious..A very extra-ordinary dish which i havent experienced on other restaurants in town. For me in terms of food, price,ambiance and service..i gave ISABELO a two thumbs up!!! Before leaving that night we had a picture taking with Chef Portia including all the guests of my sister-in-law.

For me it was a great night..A night to be remembered.Its not just an another food adventure but what strikes me most is when i met this young chef who inspired me a lot..Im a food lover person and my passion is to eat and cook..and because of Chef Portia, now I am inspired to cook and who knows someday I would be able to put my dream restaurant..Thank you Isabelo's for this extra-ordinary experience.We had a great time and it was really a memorable moment of my life. It is also a priviledege for me to meet Chef Portia and have picture with her.Thanks to my husband for taking this shot..
